The advanced tool should improve upon the basic tool by being able to handle elision, apheresis as well as poetic licenses such as iambic shortening and synizesis. In addition, it should provide some basic scores for ranking the different readings and be able to tell if a reading is valid with respect to a given metre.

It should also provide rich information on how the different readings come about, which can then be used for generating features to improve the ranking system.
