The tool should be able to look up syllable lengths in a dictionary and to respect basic laws of position-based syllable lengthening. It should present the user with all possible verse variants.

At this point, the tool does not need to be able to handle elision, apheresis or special poetic licenses like iambing shortening or synizesis.
